One Laptop Per Child... Give 1, Get 1 Starts Nov 12th

One Laptop per Child (OLPC) is starting their "Give 1, Get 1" promotion on November 12th. $400 gets you 2 of their laptops, 1 for you and 1 that gets donated as part of their project.

For anyone not familiar with OLPC, they are trying to build Linux based laptops for children in lesser developed nations. Their goal is to build a rugged laptop that is mesh networked and powered by a hand crank for $100. They've also been working on a streamlined version of Linux to reduce the hardware requirements. IMHO its quite an interesting social and technological experiment.
